It has come to our attention that scammers are using an advertisement on Facebook asking people to apply for a loan through WhatsApp. Scammers are impersonating a variety of financial institutions, including NE PA Credit Union. They are using NE PA branding and posing as NE PA loan officers.
NE PA Credit Union will NEVER ask you to apply for a loan via WhatsApp. If you receive an offer to apply for a loan via WhatsApp, disregard the information and immediately contact us at 570-421-5585.
