Supporting Local Students

The NE PA Community FCU Foundation was organized in 2012 in the spirit of the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People.”

The Foundation’s mission is "to promote and support the educational goals of students from Monroe and Pike Counties, Pennsylvania, through financial assistance for their post-secondary education.” The Foundation will make available educational awards to in-school students, as well as graduated students repaying educational loans.

To date, the Foundation has given away over $51,000. The most recent awards were given away on July 18, 2024. Pictured left to right are Caia Moran ($1,500), Jacob Wharton ($1,500), Nicole Valderrama ($1,500), Daniel Juchnicki ($1,000), Rebecca Chowdhury ($1,000), Sakura Helm ($1,000), and Yacine Tom Wing ($1,000).
